Heritage Golf Tournament

By James Wedgeworth on August 23rd, 2010

We are all concerned about the Annual Heritage Golf Tournament on Hilton Head Island; we have enjoyed the week after the Masters which many consider to be fantastic.

A recent article in the local Island Packet said that the golf tournament will be changed to two weeks after the Masters; a Texas tournament taking our usual spot.  We are concerned about this, but what we are most concerned about it maintaining the Heritage.  Losing this golf tournament would be a major blow to our market.

We will keep you posted on any other news.

Hilton Head Island – Vacation Destination

By James Wedgeworth on July 6th, 2010

We have seen a record number of people visiting Hilton Head Island this summer – and we love every minute of it.

I think we are getting a lot of first time visitors due to the oil spill that is currently affecting the Gulf Coast.  We hate that this is the reason that some are making Hilton Head their vacation destination, but we hope they enjoy it while they are here.

Maybe some of these visitors will come back to vacation again and perhaps someone will even want to own a piece of paradise known as Hilton Head Island.

Returning to Hilton Head Island…

By James Wedgeworth on May 20th, 2010

The Chart House restaurant is making its return to Hilton Head Island after a ten year absence.  The restaurant will be opening in a new location on the north end of the island (former site of Charley’s Crab).

This restaurant is one of only 27 locations across the United States.

Click here to visit The Chart House website and view a sample menu.

Wonderful restaurants and delicious food – just another reason we love Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
