Navigating Your Course – Roads & Real Estate
By James Wedgeworth on December 4th, 2009I was recently going to Virginia – driving up Interstate 81. I topped a hill late at night and all of a sudden all I saw were taillights – traffic was stopped as far as I could see. Luckily for me, there was an exit and I took a sharp right turn and went to the nearest convenience store hoping that someone could tell me how I could get around the road block.
Luckily I ran into a UPS driver – sure enough, he knew the area very well and told me to take the service road for three miles, turn right and I would pass all of the traffic.
In a couple of minutes I was on the interstate virtually by myself because everyone else was blocked in traffic.
I was thinking how lucky I was to run into a UPS driver because I knew that there was nobody who knew the roads better than them. I started thinking how this is true relating to Hilton Head Island Real Estate.
When a buyer or seller goes into the “convenience store” to pick out their Realtor, they want the one who has the most knowledge, knows all the back road, and can be the most service to them.
