I was showing property and when we finished, they said, “if we could get the 2nd house at the 3rd home’s price at the 4th home’s location we think we would have something we could deal with”. 

I laughed because when we would put those factors together, the price would be $2.4 million and they agreed. 

It seems to me that you can never find the exact house you want, in the exact location you want, at the exact price you want.  You have to make compromises to get the best house in the best location for the best price. 

Remember, what determines the price of a house is the location, condition, age and the size of a home.
