There is a country music song that says, “the only thing that’s certain is uncertainty”.  This makes me think of the real estate market.

I was talking to another realtor and he said that when we get one problem solved another problem pops up.

We have been through what we call the perfect storm recently with foreclosures, credit problems, appraisal problems, insurance problems and so on.  It seems that if it weren’t for bad luck, we wouldn’t have any luck at all.

I often tell people that we are in a changing market; it just seems like most of our changes have all been due to bad news. 

Even though all the external forces have been against us, we have some things that don’t change. 

I have been on Hilton Head Island almost 29 years and the beach is still 12 miles, private and secluded.  We have great golf courses and great weather.  All the good things have not changed.
